it's really a wonderful object deserving of a a very special spot

with an overflowing bowl below it  set against a background of radiating rainbows

I have not attempted to clean this box as I love the darkness of the aged copper but I imagine it would brighten up nicely

It measures 6" long x 2 1/4" wide x 1 3/4" tall and is good vintage condition

To close it, one presses down and turns the lid, locking it very tightly so that ink could never escape.
