Ancient Ecuadorian Whorl, Owl Swarovski crystal these are two "caps" solderedA unique ancient "Spindle Whorl", made of clay from the Manteno Culture, dated from 800 1500 AD depicts an owl which apparently had religious significance, representing transcendental passage to the "Otherworld". 14mm diameter x 13mm tall, hole is 2 1 2mm. Highly collectible and in very good condition!
