Pours with a frothy white mousse that shows very good hold. Pale straw base wine colour with a very fine bead that shows excellent persistence. Rich, powerful nose with aromas of baked bread, yeast lees and some toastiness to the fore. Subtle roasted almond and citrusy dried honey notes follow on. Quite full and rich the palate possesses mouth filling flavours of baked bread, oily toast
