Antique Horsehair Barber's Brush with Turned Wood Handle vermont though as noted the curveThe lovely antique barber's brush features a turned oak wooden handle, and beautiful long and very soft! horsehair bristles, I believe it dates to the late 19th or early 20th century, but have not found another exactly like it. The form of the handle is a bit unusual; shorter than one typically sees, and with the end tip of the wood actually being a plug that pulls out, as if one might store a little something inside! Perhaps a secret snuff
