Canadian Vintage Snowshoes with fine weave vintage hammer Eggen brandClassic Canadian Wooden Snowshoes Wood, Rawhide, Leather, Metal 42"x14"x2" Canada Vintage Winter Bastien Brothers brand snowshoes. Handmade in Canada. This set of snowshoes is in really good condition notice the tightly woven rawhide. Original leather bindings are still supple enough to be used. Leather bindings were a major upgrade from a simple cloth rope tie, which constituted the foot attachments on the earliest snowshoes. Image credit: Canadian
