The larger shows one small crack that runs down from the lip the bowl and a little roughness around the edge otherwise

and would bet they are British based on the phrases and the character of the images

I really have a hard time passing these old hand painted pins by, and especially love the face on this one, with two tiny dots for a nose, and eyes just barely peeking out from underneath that tall hat!
