Just through normal wear and tear, the prime switch will feel lose. Despite which position the switch is, the pump itself will be stuck in either "Prime" or "Spray" mode. Thankfully this kit fits 90% of Wagner Pumps and Non commercial Titan pumps. And it's easy to replaces and much cheaper than a new sprayer! This newer 90 degree prime spray valve kit
