Constructed of silvered bronze with black enamels, the obverse consisting of a black enameled disc, bearing a silvered date of 1923 topped by oak leaves and a raised Stahlhelm insignia, the reverse with a crimped barrel hinge and banjo style pinback meeting a round wire catch, bearing an engraved membership code and date of IV.
