Germany, Wehrmacht. An Eastern People’s Merit Decoration, I Class, Gold Grade Auction Croats and Slovenians(Verdienstauszeichnung fr Angehrige der Ostvlker, I. Klasse in Gold). Constructed of gilded zink, consisting of an eight pointed radiant star, the obverse depicting a six leaved rosette, surrounded by a laurel wreath tied together at the bottom via a ribbon, surrounded by a ribbed border, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo style pinback, unmarked, measuring 49. 85 mm (w) x 49. 63 mm (h), weighing 21. 9 grams, missing its catch, otherwise in
