Constructed of oval shaped blackened tombac; the obverse with a Stahlhelm in the center, superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom; the reverse with a ball hinge, a flat wire catch, and a flat vertical pinback; measuring 36. 76 mm (w) x 41. 04 mm (h); weighing 7. 1 grams; the black finish mostly worn, thus revealing the bare tombac underneath remnants of the black
