Bob Frank "Broke Again--The Unreleased Recordings" Color:Marijuana w/ Liner Notes - RSD 2024 (/850) 'Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood'Originally released in 1972 on Vanguard Records, Bob Franks self titled debut album took elements of Dylan, Johnny Cash, and Ian Tyson and filtered it thru a pot smoked haze and the infusion of Franks long time friend, Memphis guru Jim Dickinson. Dickinson and Frank shared a mutual admiration that ran so deep that on Dickinsons own 1972 debut album Dixie Fried (released on Atlantic Records), he recorded one of Bob Franks songs Wild Bill Jones. But
