A medal constructed of bronze, in the shape of a swastika; the obverse bearing a set of SS runes within an oak wreath; the reverse inscribed FR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER SS (German For Loyal Services in the SS); on a loop for suspension; with a period original and matching cornflower blue ribbon bearing two hand embroidered gilt SS runes; unmarked, but these medals were produced exclusively by Deschler & Sohn of Munich and Lorenz
