Constructed of silvered stamped zink, the obverse featuring a national eagle with swooped down wings, clutching a wreathed swastika inscribed Narvik in capital letters, with an Edelweiss flower (representing the Heer) in the center between the date 1940 and a crossed anchor (representing the Kriegsmarine) and propeller (representing the Luftwaffe), with a Luftwaffe gray wool backer, the reverse with a zink backer and all
