United States. A 101 st Airborne Division “Screaming Eagle” Patch, c. 1944. Auction two Polish Ex-Serviceman's Association "SPK"Instituted 1944 by the US Army. Shoulder sleeve insignia with bald eagle in left profile. Embroidered in red, white, yellow, and black with Airborne stitched across the banner. Good condition. Footnote: The eagle patch was instituted by the US Army and worn by the Airborne Division who parachuted into Normandy, France on D Day.
