Tortoise Brooch Set Elizabeth Pepper Used for loveBased on a find from Lisbjerg, Denmark, they sport a very cheerful looking gripping beast design. They are lighter than the previous version with a new mold being produced to replicate the traditional construction method. As a result, the back of the brooch is patterned with weave from the cloth used when making the mold just like the originals. The brooches are 8. 2 cm long, and weigh about 90g each. They are cast in lead free pewter in Scotland.
