Constructed of off white paper with multi coloured ink, opening with a SS Standarte Germania letterhead and dates 5 October 1938, indicating that an accompanying list of SS personnel have successfully completed a preparatory course, dates 5 October 1938 and certified on 10 October, featuring original handwritten signatures of then SS Sturmbannfhrer Herbert Gille (Knight Cross, 8 October 1942; with Oak Leaves, 1 November
