Germany, Weimar Republic. A Silesian Eagle, I Class Auction Archive measuring 47 mm(Schlesischer Adler I. Klasse). Constructed of silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of a vaulted Silesian style German national eagle with feathering executed in careful detail, clutching a banner in its talons bearing a raised inscription of FR SCHLESIEN (FOR SILESIA), overlaid across its chest by a raised Brustmond, the reverse with four visible rivets securing the obverse features in place, with a crimped hinge and narrow banjo style pinback
