Constructed of blackened and silvered bronze, the obverse consisting of a central Iron Cross, overlaying a rectangular plaque bearing a raised date of 1939, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, connecting to a period original length of ribbon, unmarked, measuring 30 mm (w) x 14 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
