Belgium, Kingdom. A Native Service Medal, Military Newly Listed the son of Walter LeeMdaille de Service pour Indignes. King Leopold III (1935 1953). Instituted in 1892. In dark bronze, engraver marked "E. BRACKENIER" on the obverse, measuring 32 mm in diameter, clasp on its original ribbon with dual prong pinback, very light contact, extremely fine. Footnote: The medal was instituted on November 4, 1892 and awarded to native Congolese for good and loyal service to the Congo state.
