A cross constructed of silvered and gilded tombac, constructed in the shape of a cross patte with an oak leaf wreath running between the crosss arms, the obverse centre presents a black enamelled swastika, with the upper arm of the cross bearing the numeral 50 in gold, the reverse centre presents the inscription FR TREUE ARBEIT (FOR LOYAL SERVICE), measuring 41. 42 mm (w) x 45. 79 mm (h), on loop for suspension from period
