An Early Second War Croatian Observer & Navigator Badge Newly Listed Grave Reference: CAn Early Second War Croatian Observer & Navigator Badge Very early and fine quality badge in silvered bronze, version with two pins and tongue, vaulted, 92mm x 65mm, hollow center, tongue marked "Braca Knaus, Zagreb and METAL". Worn, with nice old patina, in extremely fine condition. Badge was awarded to qualified Observers, whose duties also included navigation and helping out air gunners. This type with retaining pins and tongue is extremely rare.
