Naming is engraved, with a "W" stamped over the "J". The suspension on the medal has been severed, the reverse of the medal becoming the front of the brooch, the obverse of the medal with Queen Victoria's bust now the back of the brooch with a loop and horizontal pinback positioned, edge nicks, bruised, contact marks, very good. Footnote: William Newman is entitled to the Bhootan Clasp.
