Germany, Wehrmacht. A Close Combat Clasp, Silver Grade, by Arbeitsgemeinschaft Metall und Kunststoff Republic of Sotheby June 1983(Nahkampfspange in Silber). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a central square oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated above a magnetic metal backplate, flanked on each side by four stylized rays and oak leaves with two acorns, the reverse with an integral hinge and banjo style horizontal pinback meeting a flat wire catch, designer marked
