Marlene Floor Lamp designer-Tim Rundle the coastal-inspired Devyn area rugWhen he designed the Marlene Floor Lamp, Ian Thornton was inspired by a bracelet he had seen. As he progressed through the process of turning the piece of jewelry into a floor lamp, he became fascinated with the negative space created by the split stem that embraces the oval white marble ornament. The stone and the off white shantung shade are pale elements that juxtapose the warm gold leaf finish on the metal.
