Hardshelled design on both the lid and base, wooden framed, the exterior with a maroon dimpled cloth covering on all sides, a blue and white enamelled Republic of China sun insignia, resting upon a stylized plum blossom, framed by an open ended wreath and tied with a ribbon at its base, with an inscription in Chinese framed by the ends of the ribbon in gold coloured ink, inside lid lined in white satin, padded, marked and
