Germany, Federal Republic. A Luftwaffe Parachute Badge, 1957 Version, c. 1965 Newly Listed constructed of a slate-grey wool(Fallschirmschtzenabzeichen). Re instituted on July 26th, 1957. Constructed of silvered and gilded tombac, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in position, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch that is bent and does not allow the pinback to open, unmarked, measuring
