Portrait of Thomas Bell (1792-1880) Size:L: 75 x 50cm Bread Street Hill and StFull length studio portrait of Thomas Bell, standing and angled to the right as viewed. Bell is posed with his left hand resting on a book which rests, with an inkstand, upon a clothed table. An upholstered wooden chair appears behind the sitter. The reverse has various inscriptions. Printed: 'MAULL & POLYBLANK, PHOTOGRAPHERS, 55 Gracechurch St. & 187A, Piccadilly, LONDON.' Thomas Bell was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1828. Original:
