A Model 1934 Hewer, by Carl Eickhorn consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac with the inscription "CAVALRY TRAINING(Reichsarbeitsdienst Hauer fr Mannschaften und Unterfhrer). A well preserved Reichsarbeitsdienst (Reich Labour Service RAD) Model 1934 (commonly issued to Enlisted and Non Commissioned Officer ranks) hewer, measuring 39. 5 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard.
