This is a 1936 'Works' car similar to the one driven to victory in the 1935 Tourist Trophy race by the legendary Freddie Dixon. Fifteen years later the late Mike Hawthorn won the Ulster Trophy race in this Riley, thus establishing him in the forefront of British racing motorists. Mike Hawthorn had restored the chassis as seen here a short while before his tragic death in 1959.
