Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse with a raised German national eagle clutching a HJ insignia, within a ribbed ring bearing an inscription of BLUT UND EHRE (BLOOD AND HONOUR), the reverse with a loop and dual attachment prongs, maker marked with the logo of F. W. Assmann & Shne, Ldenscheid, also marked with the logo of distributor Overhoff & Cie, Ldenscheid, measuring 64 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), oxidation evident, in overall
