A Second War Japanese Wound Badge Auction Colonel Kirkpatrick was killedA Second War Japanese Non Combatant Koushou Wound Badge; in silver and red enamels; dual vertical pinback; marked with six Japanese characters; patina, hairline cracks on enamels and enamels chipped off on left arm; near very fine condition. Footnotes: The majority of Koushou wound badges were often awarded to soldiers that died due to a serious disease during the Second War.
