Instituted on 12. 6. 1792 by King Friedrich Wilhelm II. (Issued 1792 1918). Constructed of a four pointed silver rayed star, the obverse with a Gold cross pattee with white enameled arms, with a circular white enameled medallion in the center depicting an enameled red crowned eagle, surrounded by a silver ribbed ring, a broad white enameled ring inscribed SINCERE ET CONSTANTER
