Constructed of a toned aluminum alloy, the obverse bearing a leftward facing profile of a Heer soldier wearing a Stahlhelm, circumscribed by an inscription of PANZERAUFKLRUNGSABTEILUNG 40, the reverse bearing a central Odal run, flanked by dates 15. 8. 40 15. 4. 42, situated above a laurel wreath and topped by an inscription of 14. PANZER DIV., the twelve oclock position bears a post manufacture, hand punched
