Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a Geneva Cross overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swasika, the reverse inscribed MEDAILLE FR DEUTSCHE VOLKSPFLEGE (MEDAL FOR THE CARE OF THE GERMAN PEOPLE), unmarked, measuring 38 mm in diameter, in better than very fine condition.
