with later Dutch hallmark denoting silver fineness of
near extremely condition
Germany, Imperial. A Colonial Badge, Numbered GTRexclude A Luftwaffe cap eagle in(Kolonialabzeichen). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse with a central elephant, above oak leaf branches and topped by an inscription of SDSEE AFRIKA KIAUTSCHOU, the reverse with a vertical pinback, marked with issue number 33992, measuring 34. 15 mm (w) x 38. 69 mm (h), in extremely fine condition. Footnote: The Colonial Badge was awarded to all personnel who participated in the war effort in Germanys overseas territories.
