An Officer’s Winter Field Cap, Upgraded and Privately Purchased Example consisting of a blue enamelled Romanian Cross with clusters of nine gilt rays in eac Graf Zeppelin World Flight Commemorative(Luftwaffe Pelzmtze fr Offiziere). A unique and extremely well reserved Luftwaffe Officers winter field cap, constructed of dark grey wool. The crown is fully surrounded by a layer of heavy fur, extending across the peak and culminating in two ear flaps which offer optional ear and neck protection to the wearer in inclement weather conditions. When not in use, the flaps roll up and secure in place over the crown with two drawstrings. A length of
