These are inscribed: 'Ignis Palladias' [Pallas fire ] and 'Ignis Vestiae' [Vesta fire] and are ascribed qualities or attributes, for example the latter 'Corporeus et inquinatus semper depuratur et redditur subtilior' [Physical and polluted, always purified and rendered more subtle].
