Germany, Kriegsmarine. An Officer’s Tropical Visor Cap Insignia Archive on an original narrow version(Kriegsmarine Mtzenabzeichen fr die Tropenschirmmtze). Constructed of olive drab wool, the obverse bearing semi circular oak leaf wreath executed in golden yellow celleon wire, surrounding a central aluminum tri colour cockade with a red wool centrepiece, the reverse retaining an intact black rayon liner, unmarked, measuring 70 mm (w) x 62 mm (h), a scarce insignia to Officer and Admiral ranks in uniform removed and extremely fine condition.
