Germany, SS. A Long Service Award, IV Class for 8 Years, by Deschler & Sohn Archive Three Third Reich Awards -(SS Dienstauszeichnung IV. Klasse fr 4 Jahre). Instituted 30 January 1938. (1938 1945 issue). Constructed of blackened bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse bearing dual raised Sig runes, situated within a circular oak leaf wreath, the reverse bearing a raised number 4, overlaid by an inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE IN DER SS (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE IN THE SS), unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of
