A 106th Infantry Battalion "Nova Scotia Rifles" Cap Badge Hold engraver marked "ALLAN WYON" onIn pickled copper, unmarked, measuring 42 mm (w) x 43. 5 mm (h), one lug slightly bent but both lugs are intact, spotting, light surface wear and contact marks evident on the "106", near extremely fine. Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Nova Scotia with mobilization headquarters at Truro under the authority of G. O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed July 16, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant Colonel R. Innes with a strength of 36
