A Public Concern & Excellent Knowledge Medal, C.1877 Auction additional smooth finished mid-tone brownA circular medal constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing three people in Grecian style robes, the woman on the left clutches a wreath in one hand and a torch raised in the other, the person on the right is helmeted and bears a spear and a leaf, one arm rested on a rectangular plaque with a coat of arms, the centre person has their arm over the right person, an owl by their feet, to the far left is a statue of a woman, under this is the inscription
