Germany, Luftwaffe. A Glider Pilot’s Badge, Refurbished Example, by C.E. Juncker Auction marked in Chinese "Republic of(Segelflugzeugfhrer Abzeichen). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a mobile swastika, overlaid by a German national eagle in mid flight, the reverse with two visible rivets securing the eagle in position, with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch emanating from a circular plate, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of a mid to late war
