A 1927 Pattern Sa/Ss Cap Eagle Hold A WWI Czechoslovakian Victory MedalAn early 1927 pattern SA SS Cap Eagle (Mtzenabzeichen); two vertical bronze pins; maker marked RZM 45 on reverse; measuring 26 mm x 36 mm; near extremely fine condition. Footnote: Allegedly the first pattern of the Third Reich political eagle was designedby Adolf Hitler himself and was introduced on November 4th 1927. The eagle was originally worn on the cap by SA and SS personnel and wasn't adopted for wear by NSDAP leaders until 1931.
