Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Alberta with mobilization headquarters at Edmonton under the authority of G. O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion was under the command of Lieutenant Colonel E. Leprohon. The Battalion was absorbed by the 178th Infantry Battalion.
