Reversed image [and therefore either an original illustration for, or copy of the original from] De Historia Piscium, by Francis Willughby and John Ray (Oxford, 1686) plate 23 figure 3, where it is styled 'Guacucuia Brasil'. This version has a scale detail (above the main image) not present in Willughby. Monogrammed 'HHT'. Not dated. Original: ink and pencil on paper. ca. 1685 1686
