Germany, SS. A Model 1933 Service Dagger, with Hanger, by Gottlieb Hammesfahr United Republic of chipping and crazing evident in(SS Dienstdolch M33 mit Gehnge). A well preserved SS Model 1933 Service Dagger, measuring 37 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 22 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains factory original sharpening to the edges and tip. Acid etched onto the obverse of the blade is an inscription of MEINE EHRE HEIT TREUE (MY HONOUR IS LOYALTY) in Fraktur script, while the reverse ricasso bears a makers mark of GOTTLIEB
