Constructed of gilded and silvered zink; partially hollow; the obverse constructed of an oval laurel wreath, with a national eagle perched on the top of the badge clutching a mobile swastika, with a side view of a destroyer cutting through a wave, with the bow of the ship extending over the wreath; plain reverse, with a vertical wire pinback, a sheet metal hinge and a round wire catch; unmarked; measuring 44. 70 mm (w) x 57. 00 mm
