Germany, Heer. A Rare Band Leader’s Brocade And Buckle, By F.w. Assmann & Söhne Newly Listed Officer (OBE)(Heer Feldbinde und Schnalle). A rare Heer Band Leaders brocade and buckle, the former constructed of a field grey wool base, overlaid on the exterior by a layer of silver aluminum wire, in turn bisected by dual machine embroidered red tresses, one end bearing a reverse field grey leather tongue perforated with nine sets of dual eyelets for an adjustable fit, the opposite end stitched into a loop to accommodate the buckle, unmarked with the exception
