A red enameled Latin cross in bronze gilt, obverse centre exhibiting a bronze gilt anchor, reverse with red enamels, adorned by an Imperial Spanish crown also in bronze gilt, measuring 34. 65 mm (w) x 56. 35 mm (h inclusive of the imperial crown), presenting oxidation on the interior of the crown and minor loss of gilt, accompanied by original ribbon with a traditional Spanish style horizontal
