A rare and unique ornament from the hunting lodge of Crown Prince Rupprecht, constructed of a polished and lacquered staghorn core carved into a flattened oval, the obverse inset with a silver oval disc bearing the Crown Princes raised monogram, the reverse similarly inset with a silver oval disc overlaid by a gilded monogram, unmarked, measuring 58 mm (w) x 72 mm (h), a scarce and unique piece from the collection of the pretender to
